This page lists the cookies and similar technologies used on pinnacleofalltrades.co.uk. For how we handle the personal data these technologies collect, see our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. Some cookies are essential for the site to work; others help us understand how visitors use the site, or allow third parties to measure ad campaigns.
This site also uses local storage (a similar browser-side technology) to remember your cookie consent choice so you don't see the banner on every page load.
Your choices
Non-essential cookies (analytics and marketing) are off by default. The cookie banner gives you two options:
- Decline: only essential cookies are used. The site still works for filling out forms.
- Accept: analytics and marketing cookies are loaded so we can measure traffic and ad performance.
You can change your choice at any time by clearing the
cookie_consent_v2 entry from your browser's local
storage and reloading the page, and the banner will reappear.
You can also block or delete cookies via your browser settings. Doing so won't break the forms but may prevent us from understanding how visitors use the site.

Counting on trade supplier profiles and the trade supplier directory
When you view a member trade supplier's public profile,
click through to its website or phone number, or open a page
of our public directory of trade suppliers, we count it for
each trade supplier shown, without setting a cookie or storing
anything on your device. Our Privacy
Policy explains how repeat views on the same day are
recognised. Apart from any analytics and marketing cookies you
have accepted through the banner, a profile or directory page
sets no cookie for this counting. A session cookie
may already be present when someone is logged in; it is strictly
necessary, so it is not part of the cookie banner choice.
Third-party policies
The third-party cookies listed above are governed by the third party's own privacy policy:
Our homepage also includes an optional embedded video hosted by YouTube. Nothing loads from YouTube until you choose to press play on that video; when you do, YouTube may set its own cookies, governed by the policy above. Our other homepage videos are hosted on our own servers and set no third-party cookies.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy whenever we add, remove, or change a cookie or similar technology on the site. The "Last updated" date at the bottom of this page reflects the most recent change.
