A clearer quote
The existing base, required repairs, surface area, edging and drainage affect the price. Ask whether the quote assumes that the current base can stay. If preparation reveals a problem, agree how additional work will be priced before the resin is laid.

Possibly, but its condition and suitability need assessing. Ask why the proposed base is appropriate and whether any repairs are included.
Do not assume that. The product and complete construction determine drainage performance. Ask the installer to explain the proposed system for your site.
