A pump is booked when the truck cannot get to the pour, which on a homeowner job means most extensions with a garden between the road and the foundations. The groundworker booking it needs somebody near enough to arrive with the concrete and experienced enough to say what will and will not reach. A listing here puts you in front of them.

How a listing works
Being listed is being findable, not being sold for. Nobody is sent your details without asking for them.

Tell us what you supply, where you are and how far you deliver or travel. It takes a few minutes.
We check you
Your company registration, your trading history and anything you have told us you hold. A person does this, and rings you to go through it: anything you hold that the form has no box for, a licence, a registration, a scheme membership, is told to us on that call. We come back to you either way.
Your listing goes live
You appear in the directory under the categories you cover, to anyone searching near you.
They ask for your details
A vetted tradesperson, or a homeowner running a project here, reads your listing and asks for your contact details. That is the point at which you hear from them.
You take it from there
The conversation is yours. We do not quote for you, take the order, or add anything to what you charge.
What we check
Your company registration and trading history, the equipment you run and how far you travel. If you tell us your operators hold a competence card or your business holds a scheme membership, we record it and check it rather than taking your word for it.
Being checked is the point of the directory. A trade choosing a supplier here knows somebody looked, which is not something they can assume anywhere else, and it is why we would rather list fewer businesses properly than many on trust.

Do I list boom and line pumps separately?
One listing. Say what you run on your website, which the listing links to, because the person booking needs to know whether you can reach over a house or only pump along the ground, and that decides whether they ring.
Will Pinnacle book the pump?
No. Vetted tradespeople book with you directly. We do not take the booking, and we do not add anything to your rate.
Who books a pump through the directory?
Vetted groundworkers and builders with a pour booked near you and no way to get a truck to it.
Do I need to be listed under ready-mix as well?
Only if you supply the concrete too. A pump business that does not ticks this category alone, and the groundworker who has already booked the concrete searches here for the pump.
