For trade suppliers
Marketing agencies: reach trade businesses as customers
Most tradespeople get their work from being recommended, and most of the ones who want more of it have already been burnt by an agency: a package, a report full of numbers and no extra phone calls. What they need is somebody who understands that their customer is a person in the same town with a leak or a plan for the kitchen, and that a van, a reviews page and a local search listing do more than a campaign. If that is you, Pinnacle lists you where those businesses already are.
List your agencyListing is by application. We check who you are before anything goes live, and we talk you through what a listing costs before you commit to it.
Why Pinnacle exists
Cowboy builders have cost homeowners their savings and good tradespeople their reputation. Most platforms check the company rather than the person behind it, so the ones who turn up and do the work properly get tarred with the same brush.
Pinnacle vets the individual. Our founder, Graham Nash, has spent 25 years helping families rebuild after they were let down, more than 500 of them, sometimes out of his own pocket. That standard is why tradespeople join, and it is why the businesses listed beside them are checked too.
For you that matters in a practical way: every trade reading your listing has been vetted before they got here, on ID, insurance, qualifications and references, and homeowners running projects on Pinnacle see it too. It is a smaller audience than a directory you can buy your way into, and a considerably better qualified one.
Graham's storyWho you would reach
- Vetted tradespeople who have outgrown word of mouth and want to be found by homeowners in their own area, not across the country.
- Established firms with a website that gets no enquiries and a reviews page nobody has asked a customer to visit.
- Members taking on staff who need the business to have a name people recognise, rather than the owner's.
How a listing works
Being listed is being findable, not being sold for. Nobody is sent your details without asking for them.
Apply
Tell us what you supply, where you are and how far you deliver or travel. It takes a few minutes.
We check you
Your company registration, your trading history and anything you have told us you hold. A person does this, and rings you to go through it: anything you hold that the form has no box for, a licence, a registration, a scheme membership, is told to us on that call. We come back to you either way.
Your listing goes live
You appear in the directory under the categories you cover, to anyone searching near you.
They ask for your details
A vetted tradesperson, or a homeowner running a project here, reads your listing and asks for your contact details. That is the point at which you hear from them.
You take it from there
The conversation is yours. We do not quote for you, take the order, or add anything to what you charge.
What we check
Your company registration and trading history, and the services you list. Marketing is the one category where how you present yourself is the evidence, so we look at your own website and reviews before your listing goes live.
Being checked is the point of the directory. A trade choosing a supplier here knows somebody looked, which is not something they can assume anywhere else, and it is why we would rather list fewer businesses properly than many on trust.
More about our checksWhat is coming
We record how many times somebody asked for a listed business's details, because that is the figure that means something rather than how many times a page happened to show you.
We are building a view for suppliers that will show you your own. It is not live yet, and we will tell you when it is rather than counting it as a reason to join today.
Homeowners running projects can search the directory too.
Questions trade suppliers ask
Do tradespeople actually buy marketing?
Some do, and the ones on Pinnacle have already put themselves through vetting to be here, which says something about how they run a business. They are wary of agencies for good reason, so a plain offer aimed at local homeowners lands better than a package.
Will you recommend me to members?
No. We do not endorse any supplier, and we do not pass your details on unasked. Members search the directory, find your listing and contact you if it fits what they are after.
Can I offer web design as well?
Tick both categories if you do both. If your work is mostly building sites rather than getting them found, the web development category is the better fit, and the person reading will tell the difference.
Does distance matter for a marketing agency?
Less than for a merchant, but the directory still shows you nearest first within the radius you give, and a tradesperson often prefers an agency that knows their town. Choose nationwide on the form if you genuinely work that way.
Ready?
Apply, and we will take it from there.
Applying starts the checks. It is not an instant yes, we tell you where you stand either way, and nothing goes live until you have agreed to it.
