Why Pinnacle exists
Cowboy builders have cost homeowners their savings and good tradespeople their reputation. Most platforms check the company rather than the person behind it, so the ones who turn up and do the work properly get tarred with the same brush.
Pinnacle vets the individual. Our founder, Graham Nash, has spent 25 years helping families rebuild after they were let down, more than 500 of them, sometimes out of his own pocket. That standard is why tradespeople join, and it is why the businesses listed beside them are checked too.
For you that matters in a practical way: every trade reading your listing has been vetted before they got here, on ID, insurance, qualifications and references, and homeowners running projects on Pinnacle see it too. It is a smaller audience than a directory you can buy your way into, and a considerably better qualified one.

How a listing works
Being listed is being findable, not being sold for. Nobody is sent your details without asking for them.

Tell us what you supply, where you are and how far you deliver or travel. It takes a few minutes.
We check you
Your company registration, your trading history and anything you have told us you hold. A person does this, and rings you to go through it: anything you hold that the form has no box for, a licence, a registration, a scheme membership, is told to us on that call. We come back to you either way.
Your listing goes live
You appear in the directory under the categories you cover, to anyone searching near you.
They ask for your details
A vetted tradesperson, or a homeowner running a project here, reads your listing and asks for your contact details. That is the point at which you hear from them.
You take it from there
The conversation is yours. We do not quote for you, take the order, or add anything to what you charge.
What we check
Your company registration and trading history, the products you list and how far you deliver. If you tell us you hold a scheme membership or certification for your frames, we record it and check it, because a builder relying on it needs to know somebody has.
Being checked is the point of the directory. A trade choosing a supplier here knows somebody looked, which is not something they can assume anywhere else, and it is why we would rather list fewer businesses properly than many on trust.

Do you pass me homeowner projects?
No. Projects go to vetted tradespeople, not to suppliers, so nothing is ever put to you directly. You are listed in a directory those tradespeople search, and a homeowner running a project here can find you in it and ask for your details. The approach comes from them either way.
We manufacture and fit. Which side of Pinnacle are we?
This listing is for the supply. If you also fit as a tradesperson in your own right, that is a separate registration on the tradesperson side. Plenty of businesses do both, and the tradesperson registration is the one that puts projects in front of you.
How will a builder know I make to measure?
From your website, which your listing links to, or when they ring. The listing carries your categories and your distance from the person searching rather than a description, so a website that says what you can match matters more here than in most categories.
How far do frames travel on the directory?
As far as you tell us you deliver. You choose a radius on the form, from five miles to nationwide, and searches within it are ordered by distance with the closest shown first, so a manufacturer delivering countrywide can say so.
