Why Pinnacle exists

Cowboy builders have cost homeowners their savings and good tradespeople their reputation. Every one who takes the money and runs makes it harder for the ones who turn up on time and do the work properly, and most platforms check the company, not the person behind it.

Pinnacle vets the individual. Our founder, Graham Nash, has spent 25 years helping families rebuild after they were let down, more than 500 of them, sometimes out of his own pocket. The standard he built that work to is the one every member is checked against, and it is what a homeowner is trusting when they choose you.

How it works

From applying to your first project. Nothing here is self-serve: a person decides every match.

  1. Apply

    Tell us your trade, where you work and how far you travel. It takes a few minutes and costs nothing.

  2. Get vetted

    A call, then ID, insurance, qualifications and references, checked by a person. It is not an instant yes, and we tell you where you stand either way.

  3. Become a member

    Approved, you get your portal login and an invoice for the year. Pay it and you are live.

  4. Projects are put to you

    We match each project to members whose work suits it, and you get 48 hours to say yes or no. Saying yes shares your details with the homeowner and theirs with you. Skip anything that does not fit, and pause when you are booked up.

  5. Run it in one place

    The homeowner picks who they go ahead with. Every project sits in your portal from first contact to completion, and Pinnacle stays in the middle if anything needs sorting out.

    Accept the projects that suit you and decline the rest. Booked up? Pause for 2, 4, 6 or 12 weeks and nothing is sent until you are back.

  • Certificates checked once

    Upload your insurance and we verify it. Homeowners see that your cover has been checked, and we remind you before it runs out.

  • Your own verification page

    A public page and a QR badge for the van, your cards and site boards, so a homeowner can check you are a vetted member on the spot.

  • Vetted suppliers near you

    Trade suppliers who are members, closest first, as suppliers join in your area.

  • Homeowners on the same page

    Homeowners have their own side of the portal, so you both see the same project, they can share notes with you, and Pinnacle sees the same record if anything needs sorting out.

What we check

Your public liability cover, your trading history and your references. If you hold a CSRT we record it, and a PCA membership we record and check, and the vetting call covers whether you survey, treat or both.

Vetting is a call and the paperwork behind it. We check ID, insurance, qualifications and references for every member, whatever their trade, and we do not put work to anyone who has not been through it.

One membership, and that is all you pay

£150 for your first year, an introductory price, and it renews yearly. That covers as many projects as suit you in the year: there is no charge per project and no commission on the work you win. You pay nothing until you are approved.

How many projects reach you depends on what homeowners near you are asking for, and nothing is exclusive: a homeowner may be introduced to more than one member and chooses between them.

The first 1,000 members to join by 31 December 2026 are Founding Members. Your second year is frozen at £150 too, and it is shown on your verification page.

Questions tradespeople ask

Do you send survey-only work?

Yes. Many homeowners want an independent survey first, and the homeowner says what they are asking for.

Is replastering included?

If you take it. The vetting call records it, and a plasterer on Pinnacle can be put to the same project if you do not.
