Floor screeding jobs for vetted screeders across the UK
Every extension, underfloor heating system and new floor on Pinnacle needs a screed, and homeowners want one laid flat, cured properly and ready on the day the floor fitter arrives. We check every screeder who joins, then put the projects that suit you in front of you.
Apply as a floor screeder£150 for your first year, an introductory price. No charge per project, no commission on the work you win, and as many projects as suit you in the year.
Why Pinnacle exists
Cowboy builders have cost homeowners their savings and good tradespeople their reputation. Every one who takes the money and runs makes it harder for the ones who turn up on time and do the work properly, and most platforms check the company, not the person behind it.
Pinnacle vets the individual. Our founder, Graham Nash, has spent 25 years helping families rebuild after they were let down, more than 500 of them, sometimes out of his own pocket. The standard he built that work to is the one every member is checked against, and it is what a homeowner is trusting when they choose you.
Homeowners pay nothing to use Pinnacle, so the ones who reach you came looking for a trade they can trust, not for the cheapest quote.
Graham's storyThe work homeowners register
- Screeds over underfloor heating in kitchens, extensions and whole ground floors.
- Floors for extensions and new builds, ready for tile, wood or vinyl.
- Levelling compounds and repairs before a new floor goes down.
How it works
From applying to your first project. Nothing here is self-serve: a person decides every match.
Apply
Tell us your trade, where you work and how far you travel. It takes a few minutes and costs nothing.
Get vetted
A call, then ID, insurance, qualifications and references, checked by a person. It is not an instant yes, and we tell you where you stand either way.
Become a member
Approved, you get your portal login and an invoice for the year. Pay it and you are live.
Projects are put to you
We match each project to members whose work suits it, and you get 48 hours to say yes or no. Saying yes shares your details with the homeowner and theirs with you. Skip anything that does not fit, and pause when you are booked up.
Run it in one place
The homeowner picks who they go ahead with. Every project sits in your portal from first contact to completion, and Pinnacle stays in the middle if anything needs sorting out.
Your portal: every project in one place
Membership comes with a portal built for running the work, not just receiving it.
All your Pinnacle projects
Each one's status and next step, from the introduction to completion, in one place.
Say yes or no to each one
Accept the projects that suit you and decline the rest. Booked up? Pause for 2, 4, 6 or 12 weeks and nothing is sent until you are back.
Certificates checked once
Upload your insurance and we verify it. Homeowners see that your cover has been checked, and we remind you before it runs out.
Your own verification page
A public page and a QR badge for the van, your cards and site boards, so a homeowner can check you are a vetted member on the spot.
Vetted suppliers near you
Trade suppliers who are members, closest first, as suppliers join in your area.
Homeowners on the same page
Homeowners have their own side of the portal, so you both see the same project, they can share notes with you, and Pinnacle sees the same record if anything needs sorting out.
What we check
Your public liability cover, your trading history and your references. The vetting call covers whether you lay traditional, liquid or both, and the areas you travel to with a pump.
Vetting is a call and the paperwork behind it. We check ID, insurance, qualifications and references for every member, whatever their trade, and we do not put work to anyone who has not been through it.
More about our checksOne membership, and that is all you pay
£150 for your first year, an introductory price, and it renews yearly. That covers as many projects as suit you in the year: there is no charge per project and no commission on the work you win. You pay nothing until you are approved.
How many projects reach you depends on what homeowners near you are asking for, and nothing is exclusive: a homeowner may be introduced to more than one member and chooses between them.
The first 1,000 members to join by 31 December 2026 are Founding Members. Your second year is frozen at £150 too, and it is shown on your verification page.

Questions tradespeople ask
Liquid or traditional?
Whichever you lay. The vetting call records it, and a project that needs the other is not put to you.
Who books me, the homeowner or the builder?
The homeowner registers the project; on an extension they often name the builder who needs the screed, and the homeowner says which.
Ready?
Apply, and we will take it from there.
Applying starts the vetting. It is not an instant yes, we tell you where you stand either way, and you pay nothing until you are approved.
