Site welfare: reach the builders who need it on site

A portable toilet or a welfare unit is not what anybody pictures when they think about an extension, but it is on every site that runs for more than a few days, and the builder has to arrange it. They want somebody local who delivers on the day, services it without being chased and collects it when the job ends. A listing here puts you in front of them.

List your welfare business

Listing is by application. We check who you are before anything goes live, and we talk you through what a listing costs before you commit to it.

Why Pinnacle exists

Cowboy builders have cost homeowners their savings and good tradespeople their reputation. Most platforms check the company rather than the person behind it, so the ones who turn up and do the work properly get tarred with the same brush.

Pinnacle vets the individual. Our founder, Graham Nash, has spent 25 years helping families rebuild after they were let down, more than 500 of them, sometimes out of his own pocket. That standard is why tradespeople join, and it is why the businesses listed beside them are checked too.

For you that matters in a practical way: every trade reading your listing has been vetted before they got here, on ID, insurance, qualifications and references, and homeowners running projects on Pinnacle see it too. It is a smaller audience than a directory you can buy your way into, and a considerably better qualified one.

Graham's story

Who you would reach

  • Builders and extension specialists setting up a homeowner site for a job lasting weeks or months.
  • Groundworkers and roofers on a job where the house is unoccupied and there is nothing to use.
  • Firms with several small sites at once who want one supplier to service all of them.

How a listing works

Being listed is being findable, not being sold for. Nobody is sent your details without asking for them.

  1. Apply

Tell us what you supply, where you are and how far you deliver or travel. It takes a few minutes.

  2. We check you

Your company registration, your trading history and anything you have told us you hold. A person does this, and rings you to go through it: anything you hold that the form has no box for, a licence, a registration, a scheme membership, is told to us on that call. We come back to you either way.

  3. Your listing goes live

You appear in the directory under the categories you cover, to anyone searching near you.

  4. They ask for your details

A vetted tradesperson, or a homeowner running a project here, reads your listing and asks for your contact details. That is the point at which you hear from them.

  5. You take it from there

The conversation is yours. We do not quote for you, take the order, or add anything to what you charge.

What we check

Your company registration and trading history, the units you supply and how far you travel. If you tell us you hold a waste carrier registration for servicing or a scheme membership, we record it and check it before your listing goes live.

Being checked is the point of the directory. A trade choosing a supplier here knows somebody looked, which is not something they can assume anywhere else, and it is why we would rather list fewer businesses properly than many on trust.

More about our checks

What is coming

We record how many times somebody asked for a listed business's details, because that is the figure that means something rather than how many times a page happened to show you.

We are building a view for suppliers that will show you your own. It is not live yet, and we will tell you when it is rather than counting it as a reason to join today.

Homeowners running projects can search the directory too.

Questions trade suppliers ask

Do I get bookings through Pinnacle?

No. Whoever finds your listing books with you directly, and in this category that is a vetted builder or groundworker setting up a site. We do not take the booking or add anything to your price.

Where do I say how often I service?

On your website, which the listing links to, and when the builder rings. The listing carries your categories, your logo and your distance from them; how often you service and what is included are the first two questions they ask, so answer them before they have to.

Who is searching for site welfare?

Vetted tradespeople, mostly builders and groundworkers setting up a job near you.

We also do skips. Is that a second listing?

No, it is a second tick. Tick every category you supply and you appear in each search; a builder setting up a site often wants both from the same yard.

Ready?

Apply, and we will take it from there.

Applying starts the checks. It is not an instant yes, we tell you where you stand either way, and nothing goes live until you have agreed to it.
