Tiles and wall panels: reach the fitters who buy them
Tiles are chosen by the homeowner and bought by the trade, and the fitter usually decides where. A tiler who knows a showroom will carry stock, sort a short order and hold a batch is a customer who comes back for every job. A listing here is how they find you the first time.
List your showroomListing is by application. We check who you are before anything goes live, and we talk you through what a listing costs before you commit to it.
Why Pinnacle exists
Cowboy builders have cost homeowners their savings and good tradespeople their reputation. Most platforms check the company rather than the person behind it, so the ones who turn up and do the work properly get tarred with the same brush.
Pinnacle vets the individual. Our founder, Graham Nash, has spent 25 years helping families rebuild after they were let down, more than 500 of them, sometimes out of his own pocket. That standard is why tradespeople join, and it is why the businesses listed beside them are checked too.
For you that matters in a practical way: every trade reading your listing has been vetted before they got here, on ID, insurance, qualifications and references, and homeowners running projects on Pinnacle see it too. It is a smaller audience than a directory you can buy your way into, and a considerably better qualified one.
Graham's storyWho you would reach
- Tilers and bathroom fitters buying for a homeowner who has already chosen, and needing the whole batch quickly and from one run.
- Kitchen fitters and builders specifying splashbacks, wall panels and large format tiles as part of a bigger job.
- Wet room and shower specialists who need panels, trays and tanking from a supplier who stocks the full system.
How a listing works
Being listed is being findable, not being sold for. Nobody is sent your details without asking for them.
Apply
Tell us what you supply, where you are and how far you deliver or travel. It takes a few minutes.
We check you
Your company registration, your trading history and anything you have told us you hold. A person does this, and rings you to go through it: anything you hold that the form has no box for, a licence, a registration, a scheme membership, is told to us on that call. We come back to you either way.
Your listing goes live
You appear in the directory under the categories you cover, to anyone searching near you.
They ask for your details
A vetted tradesperson, or a homeowner running a project here, reads your listing and asks for your contact details. That is the point at which you hear from them.
You take it from there
The conversation is yours. We do not quote for you, take the order, or add anything to what you charge.
What we check
Your company registration and trading history, the products you list and how far you deliver. If you tell us you hold a scheme membership or are an approved stockist for a system, we record it and check it before your listing goes live.
Being checked is the point of the directory. A trade choosing a supplier here knows somebody looked, which is not something they can assume anywhere else, and it is why we would rather list fewer businesses properly than many on trust.
More about our checksWhat is coming
We record how many times somebody asked for a listed business's details, because that is the figure that means something rather than how many times a page happened to show you.
We are building a view for suppliers that will show you your own. It is not live yet, and we will tell you when it is rather than counting it as a reason to join today.
Homeowners running projects can search the directory too.
Questions trade suppliers ask
Will you send tilers to me?
No. We do not send anyone anywhere. Vetted tradespeople search the directory, find you by category and distance, and contact you if your listing fits, and homeowners running projects here search it the same way.
Can a fitter see which brands I stock?
Not from the listing, which carries your categories, your logo and a link to your website. Put your ranges on the website and the fitter reads it before they ring, which is how most of them decide.
We are a showroom rather than a trade counter. Does that fit?
Yes. Most tradespeople in this category are buying for a homeowner who chose in a showroom, so being one is an advantage. Whether you offer trade pricing is a question for when they ring you.
Who is searching for tiles?
Vetted tradespeople, mostly tilers, bathroom fitters and kitchen fitters with a job near you that is about to reach that stage, and homeowners choosing tiles for a bathroom or kitchen they are having done.
Ready?
Apply, and we will take it from there.
Applying starts the checks. It is not an instant yes, we tell you where you stand either way, and nothing goes live until you have agreed to it.
